Sport Relief Mile

The Sport Relief Mile was created to give the campaign a focus with an event that was open to anyone to run, walk, jog, wheel, bounce or crawl, regardless of ability or age. There is also now swimathon and cycle events so everyone can participate.

On March 20, 2016 there are special flagship Mile events taking place in six major cities across the UK; Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow, London, Norwich or Sheffield.

Olympic legacy

In this Olympic year we wish the very best for those involved in the Rio Olympics We also reflect on the legacy from the London2012 Olympics. It is all the more fitting that the television coverage is from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.

We are delighted that the Lee Valley Whitewater Centre in Waltham Cross, which hosted the Olympic canoe slalom is one of the venues and sports that has left a sustained and growing legacy.  The venue hosted the 2015 International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Championships.
