No one should face cancer alone
Macmillan is about that deep support of people in your area. As an illustration this Charity Spotlight was nominated by Will Cunningham in the UK.

My Dad died several years ago of prostate cancer that had spread, so I too appreciate the emotional stress on the person with the disease and their family of caregivers. We too turned to Macmillan for guidance and support.
Falling Cancer Death Rates
It is good to learn of the absolute rate of cancer falling across the UK reported by Cancer Research UK. Fran Woodward, Director of Policy and Impact at Macmillan Cancer Support commented;
“While it is very heartening that fewer people are dying from cancer, this research also highlights the growing number of people living with the disease and its devastating effects. There are 2.5 million people living with or beyond cancer in the UK and this figure is set to rise to four million by 2030.”

Macmillan still cites that UK cancer rates still lag other European nations describing them as “Stuck in the 90’s”.
Macmillan is a very recognised in the UK since it was founded back in 1911 by Douglas Macmillan. In more recent years that have established a substantial online brand presence, centred on patient and healthcare professional stories. Their website provides excellent resources, campaigns and focused in your area.
