Charity Spotlight – The Push for Change

Opencity Inc., The Push for Change,

We believe ending youth homelessness is possible – declares The Push for Change as Joe Roberts walks a 9,000km, 17-month journey across Canada.

We applaud Joe Roberts and the Push for Change team for the work they are doing to raise awareness and dollars to end youth homelessness. It coincides with the launch of The State of Homelessness in Canada 2016 report.

Youth homelessness

“Adversity prepares us for the next fight.” – Joe Roberts

Joe Roberts, former homeless youth, began pushing a shopping cart across Canada to raise awareness and dollars to end youth homelessness.  This national trek started May 1, 2016 from St. John’s Newfoundland and will end September 30, 2017 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
