Fabulously creative street art fundraising initiative in the picturesque city of Prague. Beneficial Brick has been helping people with special needs to live a fulfilled life since 1999.
On our European travels we stumbled across this brilliant example of social responsibility. We have not yet verified whether Beneficial Brick is a registered non-profit or a social responsibility initiative.

The wonderful pictures below speak for themselves and illustrate why it also attracted our interest.
The fundraising campaign continues in its 17th year to support people with special needs. It has resulted in 26 facilities being opened where those with special needs can live, relax and work.
The funds raised in this year’s campaign will be used to construct a social therapeutic workshop and for roof reconstruction on sheltered housing in the village of Slapy close to Prague.
You can find out more on their website and Facebook page. The Portus Praha / Portus Prague organisation behind Beneficial Brick is looking for partners in different countries and it is an inspiring fundraising initiative that really does mobilize people to action in a fun creative way.
“Portus Prague is a haven for people with special needs to live with dignity. work with purpose, develop themselves and freely live with others a life of human being”
Beneficial Brick International Project
We understand that in 2016 the organisation is trying to engage others to make this an international campaign for helping those with special needs.
We will continue to understand the impact of the organisation’s work.
